Katarína Marcineková, PhD, Zvolen 2017.The diploma thesis is aimed at selection of the appropriate information system in the company based on specified criteria that meet the requirements of REMESLO a.s.. Finding an appropriate information system is not simple due to the specific requirements set by the company. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on the theoretical knowledge of given issues such as informatics, information, data, management information systems, life cycle of the information system. The second chapter is focused on the analysis of the current state of the company and determination of the criteria for selecting of the suitable information system. The third chapter focuses on evaluation of the obtained results and recommendation the most appropriate information system for REMESLO a.s
