The final work results are assessed exposure hydrogels seedling spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) And Scots pine (Pinus silvestris (L.)) based on a research plot near the village Čičmany in Strážov mountains. Based research area is the place where the glades after wind storm in the Strážovské Mountains. Planted was containerized and bare-root seedlings in the spring and autumn period. When planting the roots of plants we apply hydrogels Stockosorb.RTM and Ectovit®. Stockosorb® is typical hydrogel and Ectovit® is a natural mycorrhizal preparation based ectomychorrhizae fungi with positive effect on the growth of most plants and sturdiness. The experimental area was established in the fall od 2013 and spring 2014. The material was collected after the first and second growing season. The aim of this work is to evaluate and determine the effect factors of presence and absence of plant growth after the third growing season. The main dendrometric variables measured on seedlings were kmienka thickness, height of seedlings, last year increase in height and volume of the aerial part. The roots were evaluated with regard to the maintenance root density (cm-1) and the proportion of active mycorrhizal root of the total number of percentage.
