Technical University in Zvolen 2017. 70p. The diploma thesis deals with small and medium business, its characteristic features as well as with investment in this sector. In the first chapter we analyze theoretical aspects of small and medium business in Slovakia - basic overview of the above mentioned issues. In the second chapter of the diploma thesis we set the objective. The third chapter contains the methodology of the diploma thesis - proposals for static and dynamic methods of evaluation of investment efficiency. In the fourth chapter the acquired knowledges are verified in practice in the real company offering services. The result of the diploma thesis is to evaluate investment efficiency.
