Diploma thesis The design off-grid photovoltaic system for a house, is devoted to the issue of energy conversion from radiation to electrical energy. At the beginning of the thesis it deals with the issue of photovoltaic devices and evaluates the available information in the given sector. It further compares and specifies all components of the systems used in photovoltaic applications. It evaluates the possibilities of developing the solar sector, taking into the consideration research activities in the field. The thesis contains a detailed design of a system determined to the object and solves the position of the financial and environmental aspects of the project, and also approximates the legislative framework of the case
