The aim of this thesis is the definition of the financial advice in the Slovak republic and comparison of pension saving by the investment life insurance. The thesis is based on theoretical knowledge of the available literature and on practical experiences. In the begining, we described the basic concepts related to the issue. Next, we tried to define who is a financial agent and who is a financial advisor and also devided them into the categories. After that, we defined what is a financial market and described the insurance as the product on the financial market. In the practical part, we analyzed and compared six insurance companies having a significant share on the Slovak insurance market. In the next part, we analyzed and compared specific financial products provided by insurance companies. We compared these products in details, using graphs and other tools in order to analyze them very carefully. We have also used a case study in order to compare main products of the insurance companies such as the savings and investment life insurance. Finally, we tried to choose the best product, in the concrete the best Investment life insurance. In the conclusion of this thesis, we evaluated achievements, goals and benefits of the thesis.
