The master thesis attempts to identify the touristic potential of north-eastern area of Spišská Magura, which is part of the Zamagurie region. Primary area considered in the master thesis is cataster of village Osturňa. The village is located in touristically attractive environment on the border of National Park Pieniny and National Park High Tatras. At the same time it is a valuable area of a landmark in contact with natural environment. The goals are aimed at evaluating the touristical potential of the area and creation of touristical infrastructure for needs of the village and needs for further development of tourism. Precondition of the successful master thesis is thorough analysis of the given area, identification of negative aspects, which could hinder the realisation of the proposed routes and identification of factors contributing to the tourism development in the village. To assign the touristical potential of the area we used methodology according to Bina and methodology TERPLAN. The area was evaluated by this methodology to have very high potential of further development. In its northern part we created a proposal of thematical routes. Important part of the thesis were also individual visualisations and graphical processing of blueprints of basic tourist route equipment.
