The aim of the thesis is to design the extensions of kitchen corner bench which is intended for sitting and also allowing its use as an occasional bed. The work is divided into 8 chapters. Master´s thesis explains basic literal concepts related to the issues of seating and bed furniture, functional dimensions and requirements. An attention is also devoted to materials and fittings used in the construction of the furniture. The practical outcome offers design of extended structure of kitchen corner bench through the design drawings.Result section provides evaluation of the design in terms of strength, safety and durability requirements which are essential for bed furniture.
