Diploma thesis was focused on the identification and optimization of business processes. Thesis consists of two parts: theoretical one and practical one. At the beginning of the theoretical part, we focused on the differences between functional and processes approach to management defining the concept of process, are principles, process classifications, process attributes, and historical milestones. In the next stage of the solution of the theoretical basis, we described the organization implementing the process management and its positives as well as its negatives. The importance of identifying, mapping, modelling, measuring performance and process analysis, optimizing and improving processes has been evaluated in the last part of the theoretical basis. The practical part was focused on the description of processes in the company Chespa SK, Limited Liability Company, in addition we purpose a new process map as well as the optimization of the business process - graphic design. In order to get a real picture, we have identified critical success factors from the results of the impact on the company and linked them to business processes. Based on the theoretical basis, we have to identify, map, measure and analyse all processes, and recommend optimization of the business process.
