The diploma thesis deals with the topic of optimization and quantification of decision making in the company. Decisions are for us an integral part of everyday. The main objective was to work on the optimization and objective decisions when choosing a supplier through suitably chosen methodology of choice of supplier in company Wood processing company ROSÍK, p. r. about. We tried to point out how important it is to establish the appropriate criteria and then choose just the one option among many. The thesis is divided into two parts and the theoretical and practical. In the first theoretical part will become apparent theoretical basis and will be explained in detail concepts such as decision making, decision-making methods, analysis of the benefits, at the end of the first part explanation of the concept of logistics. The second practical part will be clarified characteristics of the current state of the decision-making firms, deficiencies of the current state and then to the methods which will help to improve the selection of suppliers for the company, because after all quality and impeccable relationships between suppliers and consumers are an integral part of a successful application to market. In the end, it is necessary to evaluate the results that have been achieved using the method of analysis of the benefits and paired comparisons.
