The aim of our thesis was to compare the accuracy of cloud of points made from photographic material aquisited by remotely piloted aircraft system in different software packages. The research photographic material comes from a forest stand damaged by wind disturbance in locality the High Tatras. The plot was UAV imagery using DJI Phantom 3 Professional Quadrocopter. For comparison, two commercial softwares were selected in which all the required outputs could be created, namely Agisoft Photoscan and Pix4D. Furthermore, photos were processed in free and open source software so that all the outputs, namely Visual SFM and CloudCompare, could be created. Clouds were compared and we compared time and user friendliness of all three approaches.
