This submitted diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the selected logistics process in the wood processing business. The concept of logistics includes a broad spectrum meaning. It is part of any business which wants to promote the expanding market. Therefore, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention. The important part, which determines the quality of Customer Service is a distribution. The main objective of this work is to summarize the theoretical knowledge an knowledge of logistics and on the basis of studies show the issue of distribution of the selected company. The result of the practical part of work includes assessment of the current state of the selected company EKOLTECH spol. s r.o., distribution processes and phase, identification of individual distribution systems and their analysis of distribution channels, advantages and disadvantages in terms of distribution. The benefits of this thesis is the application of calculating the indicator „Filling Rate“ in the selected company, followed by how far is the fulfillment used for means of transport. The company tends to reduce transport costs using transport truck type T100L and of course reduce CO2 emissions per m3.
