This diploma thesis deals with the research of the rapid growth of Paulownia Clon in Vitro 112. The research is carried out according to the modified standard STN EN 408 and STN 49 0113. From these standards, two tests are selected and evaluated namely the bend perpendicular to the fibers and the thread along the fibers. The test is performed on ideal specimens in order to find out their basic mechanical properties and possible assessment of their use for structural purposes. The thesis contains the methodology of the procedure, the measurement, and the calculation of the results. At the end of the thesis there is a statistical evaluation of the results using ananalysis, descriptive statistics, and correlations. The aim of the work was to compare the results with other woods, in case of positive results the subsequent creation of debates on the use in construction, or further research of wood for the purpose of production of structural timber.
