The subject of the diploma thesisis a survey of the perception of innovative packaging forms. The main aim of the diploma thesis was to find the respondents' awareness of active and inteligent packaging. It was the realization of the research based on the use of the questionnaire method. In our thesis, we dealt with the theoretical knowledge about products, packaging, packaging in the food chain, and we have specified active and inteligent packaging. Subsequently, we characterized the use of innovative packaging abroad and in Slovakia. We evaluated the results of the questionnaire and the conclusion defines more detailed information on consumer awareness of innovative forms packaging and interest of active and inteligent functions packaging
