Zvolen, 2017, 94 p.The aim of this diploma work is to analyze the effectiveness of employee training in the selected business and to propose recommendations for improving the process of training and development of small-scale employees. The diploma work deals with the issue of education and development of employees in the retail sector in particular with the forms and methods of education, the educational system and the effectiveness of the contribution for the development of the employees. The theoretical part will be focused on the main definitions of the solved problems. In the practical part through the interviews with managers of retail a questionnaire will be set up, this presents the results of the research and the overall satisfaction of employees with the education will be evaluated. The return on investment into the educational activities of the company will be calculated and the recommendations for improving educational activities in retail will be proposed, which will enable to meet the stated objective.
