Financial planning is an integrating part of a comprehensive business plan and important tool of financial management.The aim of this graduation thesis is to characterize in the first chapter the financial planning of the company, to capture the core and roles of financial planning, types of plans, process of making, characteristics of individual parts of the financial plan and the control over implementation of the plan. Methods, techniques and models of making financial plan are discussed in the second chapter of the graduation thesis. The third chapter - the analytical part is focused on analysis of selected economic indicators cultivation, felling, another forestry and other activities for the reporting period 2012-2015 of selected company - University Forestry Company in Zvolen, whereby we apply the knowledge processed in the theoretical part of the graduation thesis. The core is arrangement of the comprehensive financial plan of the University Forestry Company for the year 2016 according to data from the internal resources of the company. The evaluation of the financial plan is implemented by using proprietary and source items and selected ratio indicators. We propose the measures for 2016 to be met.
