In the diploma thesis we focused on the issue of management of changes in production processes in company DOKA DREVO, s.r.o. in Banská Bystrica. Our main goal was to change management of the production process of streamlining material flow with proposals for their optimization. In the theoretical part we defined the current status of solved problems, background and knowledge of process management, in particular the improvement of production processes and optimization narrow production sites. In the analytical part, we characterized the company and its production program, analyzed the current state of the production processes, mapped the production processes, analyzed the used methods, the current efficiency of the workplaces, and analyzed the course of material flows. Based on the analysis of the achieved results, we designed solutions to optimize material flow and production processes using modern methods for managing production processes. In conclusion, we evaluated the proposed solutions and their contribution to society.
