This thesis deals with the selection and evaluation of suppliers. Theoretical part is focused on the purchase of logistics, the criteria used in selecting the supplier and the supplier evaluating methods. In the practical part of work the theoretical findings are applied to the selected firm. Analysis is performed for the evaluation of suppliers and there are also designed measures for deficiencies to improve the current situation. To explore the covered issue was slected the comapany Kovonákup.
