The work focuses on the impact of tourism, general characteristics of this impact, especially its manifestations, particularly stamping the vegetation in the area of interest NP Poloniny. The main purpose was to determine the impact of tourist’s influxin on the protected area and then how is this impact reflected in the vegetation. The groundwork from the ground we have gained from fifteen areas that we have established along the top tourist sidewalk. On research area we have used the methodology of Zurich-montpeliérskej schol and with help phytocenological entries we have recorded the genera of plant, its species and abundance. Subsequently we have evaluated the evidence acquired in syntaxonomical program JUICE where we have found fidelity of individual species and results were supplemented by an analysis of the ecological values of life forms and strategies of these taxa in the form of graphs in Microsoft Excel. The acquired data were tested in the program statistics. Finally, we have compared the work with several authors who have dealt with similar problems in other areas. We believe that the work will not only be the benefit for the National Park Poloniny, but also it would be applied to other similar interest area.
