Katarína Marcineková, PhD.The aim of the Master's thesis is implemantation of the selected information system to the selected company engaged in the manufacture of foundry products. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics describing concepts such as information system, characteristic architecture of information systems, the definition of individual system designed to support business activities, also the benefits and security of information systems. Author within the practical part characterizes the particular selected manufacturing enterprise, which is subject of the implementation of the information system. In the company system compares billing invoices, which the company used before with the new information system, which company started to use. Through descriptions of the program it analyzes what are the principles of accounting systems operate in both programs. The conclusion evaluates both systems, expresses theirs advantages and disadvantages and also make some suggestions for improvements.
