Due to the effect of advertising on consumers, we have decided to map public opinion on advertising. The main goal of the work was research of public opinion in the field of advertising perception. The survey was done using the questionnaire method. Work is divided into two main parts. The first part describes the theoretical basis of work - advertising and its historical development and individual types of traditional and modern types of advertisements. The second part deals with the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey. The survey was focused on different age categories, with different education background and different economic activity. The results of the survey with the discussion of the problem at the end of the work bring the opinions of the respondents on the advertisement.
