The goal of the thesis was the investigation of the structure, condition and regenerative processes of the beech undergrowth in the cableway terrains of the Forest Cooperative, Turčianske Jaseno. The introductory part of the thesis describes the Europen or common beech / Fagus sylvatica /, its morphology, occurrence and conditions for the development of natural regeneration. Further, procedures for the optimal cultivation and restoration are delineated from the perspective of growth capabilities likewise with a view towards the creation of suitable ecological conditions for beech regenerative processes. In the next section are characterized individual technological approaches such as horses, LKT and a forest cableway and their influence upon undergrowth damage. The following chapters describe the whole course of the research from the establishment of transects and PRS (permanent research section) in section 667 to the processing and analysis of the results. In the research tract were measured all of the dendrometric indicators that supported the structure of the native undergrowth and mainly the condition of naturally regenrated damaged individuals in the marked out tract. These measured results are processed in a tabule and graph. Subsequently, the results are evaluated from the perspective of the dynamics of the natural regeneration of beech trees, the influence of a concentration of encroaching wood material and zones of encroachment. Based on the measured results it may be concluded that the most damaged individuals of natural regenerated beech trees, up to 31.28% out of 9845 pc.ha-1, were located on the PRS based 100 meters from the cableway standard and, on the other hand, the least damaged individuals, only 12.7% of 20 800 pc.ha-1, were on the PRS based 300 meters from the valley. Despite the emergence of damaged units by the forest cableway Larix 3T,the average damage is only 18.67%, out of which broken, that is units without a chance of cultivation, is only 5.52% of the average number 14983 pc.ha-1. In conclusion we may state, that the used Hartig-Heyer shortened shelterwood cutting in substitutive combination with cutting a border edge is a suitable regenerative procedure to achieve the natural regeneration of beech trees with the assistance of the forest cableway Larix 3T. The use of the trunk methods are shown to approximate economically reasonably from the cultivation-ecological perspective in the given undergrowth conditions of the terrain.
