Elected: Wood Faculty, 2017, p. 86The aim of this diploma thesis is to implement the theoretical knowledge into practice and to evaluate the particular investment project in the selected company. The diploma thesis consists of 4 chapters, 26 tables, 12 pictorial diagrams and 8 graphs. The first chapter focuses on the essence of long-term assets, investments and their whole range of issues, investment financing, business performance, identification of factors influencing evaluation and selection of projects to implement and overall assessment of the effectiveness of investment projects. This chapter contains a brief description of the selected business and its investment activities. The second chapter consists of the allocation of the main goal of the diploma thesis and its partial objectives, which are included in it. The third chapter deals with the various dynamic and complementary methods that will be used to evaluate the investment project. The last fourth chapter consists of a detailed assessment of the proposed investment project for the selected company, the calculation of the dynamic and complementary methods for the three funding options and their subsequent evaluation. The result of this diploma thesis is to find the perspective of the investment project for the given company.
