The diploma thesis deals with the creation and preparation of a business plan. The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is to prepare a concrete business plan in the selected company as a basis for the acquisition of capital and at the same time evaluate the quality of its processing, the critical points from the point of view of the plans evaluation in selected institutions. The thesis consists of 5 chapters. The first chapter theoretically discusses the essence of the business plan, its significance, its functions, its structure and the evaluation of the plan itself. The second and third chapters contain the aim and methodology of workmanship. The analytical part of the thesis focuses on the creation of a business plan, the calculation of dynamic indicators as a basis for the bank, the selection of the bank itself and, finally, the evaluation of the business plan
