Diploma thesis consists of two parts. The fist part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical analysis of the solved logistics issues, inventory, its storage, management and in the production area it focuses on the capacity calculations. The second part focuses on solving the current situation in the company, its characteristics, current state of company's inventory, evaluation of the efficiency in inventory managment with using of indicators, which are helping the company to improve the supply chain performance. In the production area, we are focusing on the production capacity at the Steel work place in Wittur s.r.o. According to the analysis a proposal for improvement and rejuvenation of the company business is created.
