Zvolen: Technical University, 2017. 64 p.In diploma thesis, I decided to focus on taxes, specifically the tax control. The work is divided into several main parts. The first part focuses on the explanation of theoretical concepts, which are necessary for understanding the following practical part. The first theoretical part contains information regarding the basic characteristics and principles in tax administration. The next chapter is focused on the actual tax control, its principles and methodology. After explaining all the necessary theoretical background, thesis extends to the practical part. In first practical part, I'm focused on the result comparison of Tax bureau Banska Bystrica inspection activities with the results of other tax bureaus FRSR in 2015. Next part compares development of the indicators of the control activities in all bureaus FRSR in five years. The last practical part of my diploma thesis contains my subjective suggestions, which would in my view increase the process efficiency of tax control.
