When designing buildings of all kinds the conditions laid down in the Building Law must be met. In this work we decided to address one of the basic requirements for the constructions and that the fire safety of the constructions- single-storey building. Our aim is to draw up documentation on the fire safety of the warehouse of porcelain and ceramics in a single-storey building, focusing on the influence of the perimeter structure of the building on the solution of the given problem. Based on the input factors, we compare the output values that are critical to the design of the fire protection measures. By evaluating the calculations of variants with a flammable and non-combustible perimeter construction, we will draw attention to the extent to which the type of peripheral structure used to address the fire safety of the structure is affected. It is in the interest of the investor to consider the positive and negative characteristics of the materials used when designing the construction itself. An investment that may be favorable at first sight because of its favorable price may ultimately affect the planned budget after taking all the necessary fire safety measures.
