One of the basic tasks of the extraction of wood is transport of wood from forest to the further processing. This would not be possible without appropriate forest roads traversed by the vehicles. To perform their function, they must be of good quality and in a suitable condition. Condition of forest roads is influenced by three fundamental factors and climatic conditions, traffic load and bearing bedrock. Thesis deals with operational analysis of forest roads Gápel - Kohútová, which is evaluating all three aforementioned factors. Assessment of forest roads was carried out by two methods. The first method was visually evaluation of road surface and compared it with catalog damages listed in "Katalóg porušení a závad na lesných cestách." They were detected different types of damage, while the highest area was formed forfeited edge of the road and to a lesser extent were observed mosaic of cracks and cracks. The second method of evaluation was based on monitoring deflection of the road under the influence of the load by Benkellmanového priehybomeru and load vehicles. The measurements were divided into sections with the original asphalt road construction and stretches renovated in 2016. The measured values were adjusted by coefficients for the different months of the year to obtain a deflection in the spring, which is the highest. It was found decisive deflection of 0.72 mm on parts without reconstruction and 0.47 mm in renovated sections. From measurements were taken numerical and graphical outputs. Determine the projected load of forest roads for the next decade. It was found a high load-bearing capacity of forest roads, due to several reconstructions since its inception and highly viable subsoil. On the deflection values were determined by the extent and thickness of each layer of the road needed to increase its carrying capacity.
