Zvolen: TU, 2017, 87 pages.In my diploma thesis we deal with the issue of the quality management system as well as with its own improvement, based on utilization and application of selected methods and tools of the quality management system in the company. I choose Fagor Ederlan Slovakia, a.s., which is based in the ZSNP Industrial Park in Žiari nad Hronom. The main objective of my work is to analyze the theoretical aspects, where we try to approach concepts such as quality, SMK, STN ISO 9000 series, standards by which the company itself is certified, apply selected methods and tools (5 x why, 8D - Report, FMEA, Ishikawa diagram) quality management system in the company, in order to continually improve quality. We map the situation and analyze the current situation in Fagor Ederlan Slovakia, a.s. within the subject matter. Based on the results obtained with the application of selected tools and quality management methods at the end of the work, we will evaluate the individual results achieved and propose measures to ensure a lasting improvement of SMK in the company.
