The aim of this diploma thesis is the suggestion of communication strategy for the development the Slovak National Museum - The Museum of Puppet Culture and Toys at Modrý Kameň castle in the area of public relations.We have drawn from teoretical knowledges about marketing and marketing communication as well as from the analysis of portfolio of organized culture events, education programs and specialized events of museum in the period of years 2014-2016 for making the suggestion of communication strategy. We have suggested the communication strategy for the castle thanks to obtained results as well as the informations obtained by consultations with the qualified emploeyees of the museum, by primary sources, i.e. answer sheets. Cooperation of the museum with near interesting turist places, enterprise subjects, with the town Modrý Kameň and other organizations is the basic condition of the proposed strategy. It is the way how to increase an interest of admass for cultural wealth, a popularization of the activities of the museum, to attract more visitors to the museum and to increase enterprise activities and the opportunities to invest in nearplace.
