This thesis deals with the characteristics of banking products provided by selected commercial banks for clients from the groups of small and medium sized enterprises. In the first part we analyze banking sectoras a whole, basic terms and definitions of the banking system. In the second section we characterize the MSP segment on the market, its importance in the economy of the state and MSP financing. Third part is followed by the presentation of various kinds of banking services for MSP. For the analysis we chose VÚB Bank stock corporation. Fourth part presents the analytical part of thesis. This part deals with impact of the financial crisis on the products of the selected bank and impact on the whole banking sector. The obtained informations were processed in to tables and using index and graphic method we evaluated the impact of the financial crisis on the range of the products for MSP in the years 2007 to 2012.
