The aim of this diploma thesis is to design the marketing strategy for a company working in financial sector. The company’s name is LUCAS s.r.o. and it is based in Banská Bystrica. The body of work deals with marketing strategies, their distinctive types and methods of creating SWOT analysis. While creating a SWOT analysis it is important to take into consideration several external and internal factors affecting the enterprise. The work has the form of a case study, where LUCAS s.r.o. was the primary source of data. Subsequently, we studied the different types of marketing employed by the company. In the empirical part of the thesis, we evaluated the SWOT questionnaire completed by the company’s employees, including the owner. By exploring the results, we have developed the company’s marketing strategy. The conclusion of the SWOT analysis of the company LUCAS s.r.o. lends credence to a strategy of diversification. The enterprise demonstrates many strengths, but the number of calculable risks to it is higher than the opportunities presented.
