Zvolen: TU, 2017. 63 pages.The diploma thesis deals with the optimal capital structure of the company. The aim was to evaluate the capital structure in the selected business sublevel. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The first part summarizes the theoretical basis for optimizing the capital structure of the company. The individual parts are characterized by capital structure and financial stability of the business entity, the structure of assets and the sources of its cover and the determination of the optimal capital structure. The practical part consists of the characteristics of the selected business entity, the analysis of the property structure of the enterprise, the golden financing rule, the golden balance rule, the analysis of selected ratios, Modigliani and Miller model of capital structure (MM model). Based on the analyzes, there are recommendations that can increase the return on equity in the future, reduce capital costs and maintain the stability of the business entity.
