The goal this thesis is to identify the level of the intercompany communication in the selected organizational unit done by a survey and based on the results to propose ways for the improvement or quality stabilization of the existing intercompany communication. Theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to these topics: communication, communication process, intercompany communication, communication tools, effective intercompany communication. Practical part is focused on reviewing of the as-is status of the intercompany communication in the GIMAX LOGISTICS, s.r.o. company based on the survey done for two groups: managers and workers. In the surveys there are questions that relate to the identification of respondents, their satisfaction relating to the working in the company and social policy, specification of the manager-worker relationship, preferred ways of communication. As the main methods of interpretation absolute and relative counts, arithmetic average were used. The interpretation scales were proposed for the unique interpretation. The results im the group of managers are saying about prevailing positive ranking of the selected areas of intercompany communication, there is not any explicit negative assessment, the preferred ways of communication are phone calls and personal discussion. The results in the group of workers are saying about prevailing neutral ranking of the selected areas of intercompany communication, there is not any explicit negative assessment, the preferred ways of communication are personal discussion and phone calls. There is not big discrepancy in the opinions between managers and workers. Positive survey results were probably influenced by the fact that employees were trained in intercompany communication for managers and workers in the year 2015. Mainly the managers are responsible for the quality of the intercompany communication.
