Submitted the diploma thesis includes solution design fire safety of production building of the joinery production. The aim of the diploma thesis is to develop a fire safety design in building in accordance with valid legislation and to evaluate the actual safety state of the building due to the obtained results. Thesis is divided into six chapters. The first one contains the definition of valid legislation, enactments and technical standards in the field of fire safety. The second chapter includes the content of the fire safety solution, the definition of basic terms and the mathematical relations for the calculation of the fire safety design of the building which is adjudicated. Chapter three describes the goal of the thesis more in detail, the fourth describes the methodology and procedure for elaborating process of the diploma thesis. The fifth chapter consists of specific calculations of fire safety in the assessed building. The last sixth chapter is the discussion, in which a statement is made of the differences among the results of diploma thesis and the actual state of the building, this chapter also includes a recommendation for increasing the fire safety of appraisaled building.
