The main aim of this diploma thesis it to optimise supply chain of METRO Cash & Carry SR, Ltd. with logistic methods used. The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of theoretical part, the definition of logistics and logistic methods, supplies – division, management, the definition of optimization, definition of distribution centre. Furthermore, the analysis of methods used in the diploma thesis are described – analysis of costs, questionnaires of quality for customers, analysis of causes and effects, Pareto diagram with Lorenz curve and logistic method PULL. The empirical part describes METRO CC Company which has been the basis for the thesis analysis. The costs which emerged from insufficient level of logistic services, capacities which were not used because the goods were not prepared are analysed and evaluated. On the basis of the questionnaire results, the reasons for discontent and goods absence are stated. The questionnaires also help to create the analysis of causes and effects which are crucial for Pareto diagram and Lorenz curve. Also the results have been used for logistic method PULL for the elimination discrepancy between supplies and customer demand.
