AbstractThe paper published the results of damage to the remaining stand and soil damage various harvesting technologies in the OZ Liptovský Hrádok, the Forest Administration LS Teplička and forest perimeter Kolesárky. It was the animalia, cableway and tractor technology. The stands were observed based research facilities, which record the number of trees harvested, the number of damaged trees, and the total number of trees per area. Within the damage was assessed nature of damage, damaged trees distance from the approach lines, size and location of the injury wounds on the trunk. When evaluating the damage to the soil depth it was recorded tracks and grooves. The highest proportion of damaged trees experienced tractor technology divided into categories SLKT. Technology was the most gentle Lift technology due to damage vegetation and soil damage. In terms of degrees of injury was the most-represented degree No.3 "bare wood intact" in all harvesting technologies. Most injuries were concentrated within a distance of 2 m from the approach-lines above 50% for all technologies. Soil damage was recorded for each technology, most notably resulted in the tractor and the cableway technology ingestion of gravity method. Minimum soil damage was in the cableway technologi- antigravity and animal. The paper also presented proposals to reduce damage to vegetation and soil, as well as to better comply with the prescribed harvesting conditions.
