Jozef Slugeň, PhD., Zvolen 2017, 52p.The aim of diploma thesis is analysis and execution of performance and economic efficiency evaluation of cleaver processor Posch Spaltfix K-540 based on measurements carried out in a private company operation. The reader is cognizant of issues associated with manufacturing of cleaved firewood, as well as the construction properties of machines engaged in production of cleaved firewood. The results are presented in the form of graphs and tables for better understanding. The result of the work is the summary of efficiency of cleaver processor Posch Spaltfix K-540 during processing various woody plant species with different thicknesses and also evaluation of economic efficiency of this machine. The results indicate that the cleaver machine can process 3,09 m3 of logs in average per hour, with a high dependence between the thickness of the log being processed and the time it takes to produce a given volume of wood. The economy performance demonstrates that if the cleaver processor is at full capacity, it can make a daily profit of € 551.26 for spruce and € 568.56 for beechwood. It follows that the Posch Spaltfix K - 540 can be repaid in full operation in 146 days in the case of spruce and 142 days in the case of beechwood.
