The aim of this graduation paper is to introduce the issue of administrative fees, and based on the analysis of fees being paid by a selected group of businesses, to quantify the level of total costs associated with basic administrative acts, and subsequently to identify changes, which occurred as a result of the introduction of system of fees of the electronic tariff. The theoretical part of the paper examines and analyzes administrative fees, their evolution and their method of payment. One of the instruments of the eGovernment and simplification of the state administrative system and communication of entities with state administrative authorities, is the introduction of system of electronic communication. As a part of this process, a new system of payment of administrative fees for acts and procedures was introduced. In order to support the usage of this from of payment, the Slovak Republic introduced more favorable tariffs. In the applied part of the paper, the author evaluates the current system of payment of administrative fees. The result of theoretical considerations of the given subject, and the aim of the paper, is the identification of strong and weak sides of the system. The analysis leads to a conclusion that the level of administrative fees in relation to the attained revenues is significant mainly for small and medium enterprises.
