The main goal of diploma work is Protection against Flood Village Territory. We focused on Trnavá Hora. The beginning of diploma work is related to issue solution of flood protection in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. Further work is concentrated to analysis of current flood protection measures in selected village and its assessment as well as solutions in the event of an incident, flood, located in village Trnavá Hora – part Jalná. Based on the assessment of the current flood protection measures in the village, we came to possible suggestions to increase effectiveness and improvement of the current measures of protection against flood and to increase professionalism and preparedness of volunteer fire village department members at work with special technique from the Ministry of Interior project of the Slovak Republic, which is called Active Anti – flood Measures.
