The bachelor thesis is characteristic of tree species Sorbus domestica (whitty pear)which belongs between trees which are retreating from our stands and country. This treespecies should be more emphasized, because is distinguished by its unique properties. Thebachelor thesis has been mapping its occurrence in the selected area of the WhiteCarpathians, specifically in White Carpathian foothills, where it had a much largerrepresentation in the past. In addition, the natural conditions of this territory wereelaborated in detail, the sites on which the research areas were established and themethodological procedures to be dealt with in the subsequent master thesis.
