The master thesis deals with the exploitation of secondary sources of biomass in the energy sector. And especially in an innovative way of their material or energy appreciation. The main secondary sources are target fish species of biomass and organic waste, resp. residues of biodegradable waste from forestry, agriculture, or the municipal sector. The work highlights the potential of torefaction wood and consequently its densification – pelletization. The thesis follows the legislative and economic position of biofuels and focuses on the production of innovative solid fuels. The main impetus for the work, was the processing of analyzes to produce biochar by torefaction, based on biowaste and its potential for further use.
