The main aim of this diploma-thesis is to evaluate the hazardous workplace of the coating plan,t in the company ŽOS, a.s. Zvolen, from the viewpoint of carrying out further periodic measurements of emission factors, and to make a new risk assessment for the given site.In the theoretical part, this thesis is devoted to describe the characteristics of basic concepts and legislation in the field of safety and health at work - not only in Slovakia, but also in the European Union. Furthermore, it is also aimed at describing basic methods for risk assessment and workplace related harmful substances.In the practical part, this thesis deals exclusively with processing the results of periodic measurements of emissions, as well as with the preparation of assessment and identifying risk factors at the workplace, resulting in necessary security measures.
