The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the current situation in the production of dendromass in forestry. The Bachelor Thesis itself brings broader knowledge and facts concerning the production and processing of the renewable energy source, which is biomass. In the introduction of the bachelor thesis, the author generally describes in more detail what biomass is, its distribution and concrete ways of its utilization. The thesis is focused mainly on the description of the machines and equipment used in the initial preparation, the cultivation and the collection of rapidly growing biomass-containing woods, which are parts of biomass. When searching for these materials for bachelor work, the author has learned a lot of new, interesting and useful things regarding the mechanization itself at every step associated with the use of dendromass. The materials for them are drawn from various available sources (book and internet sources). In the thesis is the present situation of availability of dendromass production and its processing. From the acquired knowledge, the author drew conclusions about the current situation associated with the use of dendromass and mechanized steps in its processing. In the end the benefits of the bachelor thesis will be evaluated
