The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of small game breeding in the district of Nové Zámky.One of the objectives was to analyze the situation in the breeding complexes of Nové Zámky – middle area and Nové Zámky - north for the last five years.The thesis describes the biology, ethology and ecology of small game.One chapter is devoted to predators and it is mainly focused on our most numerous predator, the rusty fox.The following chapter comes with a detailed description of the district of Nové Zámky and the natural conditions occurring in this area.The bachelor thesis contains detailed characteristics of hunting management in the district of Nové Zámky, which includes divisions into hunting areas, breeding units and hunting entities located there. The analysis identified the current situation in hunting areas that is strongly affected by changes in the country.In the results, the main focus was put on spring tribal states, standard batch states and catches (loss) of pheasant and rabbit population.An important part of the thesis is the analysis of negative impacts affecting the small game population, which highlights the main and most negative factors, which affect small game.At the end of the thesis, actions to improve the current state are proposed, they are also recommended for hunting practice.
