The topic of this bachelor thesis is The assessment of breeding and hunting of game in Zvolen district for hunting season 2016/2017. With the help of available literature and statistical data, we tried not only to focus on the interest environment but also on a deeper analysis of the care and overall management of game in the individual hunting areas which are included in the hunting areas of Zvolen district. In individual chapters we aimed at the history of hunting, we defined hunting and breeding plans, game management, we characterized the geomorphological structure of the interest area but also the scope and purpose of the hunting areas. Using statistical data from Zvolen Regional Hunters Chamber we evaluated and graphically depicted hunting and breeding of the selected species of game with its inclusion in the age categories, we pointed out the observance of the hunting season, we specified the sex structure focusing on deer and doe including mortality and the capture of game. The evaluation also included medal animals presenting the quality of game that is the result not only of animal care but also a proper husbandry management in the hunting ground of the area.
