Bachelor thesis deals with the risk of workplace accidents in forestry. In carrying out work in the forest and workplaces of a similar nature a worker is exposed to a large number of risk factors. Climatic conditions constantly changing workplace and physical burden of making forestry one of the riskiest sectors. Accidents at work in the forestry sector lost the most part, their original character of the development of mechanization and motorisation. Most occupational accidents Harvesting and transport process occurs when logging. Most risky occupation is logger.Since most well know the causes of accidents, it would appear that preventing their occurrence will be a simple matter. But the reality is different. Based on the documentation of occupational accidents we can responsibly monitor their appearance, but also the effectiveness of preventive measures. The cause of most accidents is the subjective factor - the human.Occupational safety and health is a common issue that employers and employees, and both groups must be aware of the importance of compliance with the regulations related to safety in the workplace.
