The main goal of the diploma thesis was to analyze, based on the database and available literature, job accident rate at forestry activities in the state enterprise LESY Slovenskej republiky between years 2010 – 2017. In the thesis, we deal with saftey and health protection at work in forests and at job activities in general. We characterize forestry economy as branch of the national economy, we describe individual forestry activities and the influence of work conditions on health of forestry employees. We also characterize the state enterprise LESY Slovenskej republiky. In addition, we analyze job-related diseases, which the employees of the LESY SR enterprise experienced during their work.
