Faculty of Forestry, 2018, 89 pages.In the entry chapters diploma paper deals with beekeeping products which are divided into two groups into direct and indirect beekeeping products. In the following chapters the paper deals with the history of beekeeping and the current situation of beekeeping in the territory of Slovakia. Attention is paid to finanacial support from the state as well as from the European Union.The goal of this diploma paper is to describe item by item the inputs necessary for beekeeping established on green field from the very beginning of doing business all the way to production that needs to cover the entry costs and generate profit. Profit is generated from the sales of beekeeping products most importantly honey, pollen, bee wax, etc. Within the project two types of sale have been compared. The first type is the sale of beekeeping products directly from the yard, the other one is the sale into selling points. Both sale types have been compared and it has been determined which of two is more advantageous in terms of profit. All inputs and final outputs have been evaluated. Cash flow has been studied over the whole 10 year project period.Final part of the paper deals with the project evaluation based on Revenue on investment with a defined volume of beekeeping.Key terms: beekeeping products, economy of beekeeping, profit
