In my diploma thesis I deal with the damage of the parent plants when concentrating the wood from the locality of the stump to the forest store or the place of departure respectively. For these works only the horses for pulling the wood from the forest stand and the universal wheeled tractors for the transfer of wood along the lines were used. In the work are presented the data that were created precisely during the concentration of wood in the conditions of nature of close forest management in the area of Námestovo Split Mill, namely at LS Paráč, which contains research areas of the organization PRO SILVA.Plots were created in the areas where the number of trees, the number of stupms, the number of trees damaged, their location on the trunk, and the type of damage were measured. In the work, average mining intensity is 19.71% and the average damage percentage is 19.86. I also found that the most damage was on rootstocks with a number of 74 damage and at least a trunk over 1 meter with 6 damage.The most common wound sizes were wounds with a surface area of 51-100 cm2 with a number of 52 damage and a wound with a surface area of 101-200 cm2 with a number of 47. No damage to one of the surfaces resulted in destructive wounds or even injuries to 10 cm2. I would also like to point out that even on one of the research areas I founded there was no multiple damage to one individual.
