The Master thesis is aimed on the analysis of innovative solutions of active and intelligent packaging. The aim of the thesis is based on Kano model, to analyze and evaluate the perception and using active and intelligent packaging for consumers in Slovakia. The thesis is divided on several parts. In the theoretical part we are dealing with the the theoretical resources of the given issue. We have approchaed concepts such as invention, innovation, innovation process, packaging, packaging innovation and we have characterized the concepts active and intelligent packaging. Subsequently, we have set the aim of thesis, methodology of the thesis and we focused on the perception and using active and intelligent packaging for consumers in Slovakia, while we found out that this issue is perceived as a new and unknow in Slovakia.
